SOS mother was awarded the state badge "Motabar Ayol"

On International Women's Day, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a group of initiative and active women, including Normatova Zulkhumor Janibekovna, SOS mother in the SOS Children's Village Khorezm, was awarded the state badge "Motabar Ayol" for her contribution to life and development of children left without parental care.

When, back in 2011, Zulkhumor Janibekovna began her career at the SOS Children's Village Khorezm, she was entrusted with raising two orphans. SOS mother raised both children with love and patience. As a result of her efforts, one of the two children is now studying at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies. Today, two girls and four boys are growing up, under the care of Zulkhumor Janibekovna. The mother takes care of them and brings them up unbiasedly. In general, over the ten years of her work, SOS mother has shown love and affection for all eleven children in her family. She helped four children to become independent. Zulkhumor Janibekovna also took one child under her care and became his legal guardian. About her work as an SOS mom-caregiver, Zulkhumor Janibekovna proudly says: “If I would ever come back to this world, I would again choose the role of SOS mother. Because I am happy to bring up hopeless and broken hearts, to see how they find their place in society".

At the award ceremony, the governor of Khorezm region presented awards and congratulated the women on a wonderful spring holiday. The team of SOS Children's Villages Uzbekistan sincerely congratulates Zulkhumor Janibekovna with this award!
