On 23 April 2025, SOS Children's Villages Uzbekistan and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Uzbekistan signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding, solidifying their commitment to ensuring every child grows up in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. This agreement strengthens their partnership, driven by shared values and a unified vision for transformative change in the lives of children and families.

Through collaborative discussions, both organizations identified priority areas for cooperation, focusing on initiatives with the greatest potential for meaningful and sustainable impact.
 The key areas of partnership include:
• Joint advocacy for children's rights
• Strengthening child protection and response mechanisms
• Capacity-building for foster parents and professionals
• Support for youth transitioning out of alternative care
• Involvement of children and youth in trainings
This Memorandum serves as a solid foundation for the joint implementation of clear and effective steps in the best interests of children.
 Joint efforts — for every child!
