Seminar on monitoring and reporting

From 25th to 28th November 2019, Ms. Matanat Rakhimova, capacity building consultant on results-based management (RBM), together with adviser of the National Office held a seminar on monitoring and reporting for coworkers of the Khorezm branch of the Association of SOS Children's Villages Uzbekistan.

This training was held to facilitate the implementation of effective monitoring and evaluation (M&E) methods for programs by the branch, as well as the formation of an effective reporting system.

The training consisted of interactive sessions aimed at increasing the efficiency of using a monitoring and reporting system based on RBM, developing skills for the efficient use of functions and reports of the SOS database, as well as identifying the necessary knowledge and skills to improve the current program and developing a new program using the RBM approach.

In 2018, the association commenced implementation of the “Results Based Management” approach in its programs. Results-based management is a management method for achieving the desired results, which is based on a clearly defined responsibility for the results and requires systematic monitoring, self-monitoring and reporting on the progress.
